Since 2011, non-returnable asylum seekers have been denied legal employment in Norway. Nor can they go to school, receive the necessary health care or marry. IT engineer Arne Viste cannot live with the fact that his beloved home country treats vulnerable people this way. He claims that God has given him a calling; to change the current policies so that this group can make their own living. Mr. Viste puts all his property, his job and the future wellbeing of his wife and children at stake to reach his goal. He starts an employment agency that during its five years of operation provides work for more than 90 undocumented immigrants. For this the state convicts him to prison and pushes him into bankruptcy, but
Mr. Viste believes God leads him to continue the work; and starts PLOG 2, risking a longer prison sentence. Can he change the law, or will Viste himself perish in the process? And is it right to punish someone who is just trying to help?
