MEET THEA
While almost anyone can pick up a video camera and hit record, Thea’s talent lies in creating moving films by getting access to unique people and making it easy for them to open up and share their stories. She has a penchant for crafting engaging films about courage, creativity, spirituality and healing, all with the overarching goal of enriching the viewer’s spiritual journey and helping to bring justice and change to areas where oppression and inequity are rife. By knowing just the right questions to ask the healers, spiritual leaders and changemakers of the world, Thea is making their profound wisdom accessible and understandable to a global community of viewers.

Thea was the editor of our pioneering program "Christmas cards from all over Norway" that showcased musical and spiritual greetings from congregations all over Norway, from Pentecostall and Lutheran to Orthodox and Catholic - as well as guests in the studio. We were very happy with the variety and quality of the content - and Thea showed a great ability to carry out a large event in a short time.
With her cultural sensitivity, relationship skills and ability to work in challenging environments around the world, Thea was able to capture the stories of people who were persecuted for their faith and our partners who helped them. I can hardly find the words to express how delighted we are with Thea's film portrayal of Helping Hands Korea's work of helping North Korean refugees in crisis. Thea's professionalism combined with her sensitive balancing of the human rights work and Christian mission was elegantly achieved, which significantly widened the audience that is engaging with this vital issue.
